Our current 2024-25 list of training options are listed below. All trainings and workshops can be optimized to meet your organizations' needs and goals. All trainings and workshops can be customized anywhere from 1-4 hours. 
Currently NDATS-300 LE is available for CLEE credits. 
We are frequently adding new topics to our library.  
We can custom build the training, space, or event for your organization. 

NDATS 101: Understanding and Appreciating Neurodiversity in your field. (1-2 hour options)
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the minds of neurodiverse individuals. This course will look at topics including common characteristics,  executive functioning, theory of mind and how people with ASD navigate a neurotypical world. This overview training will build a strong foundation on the topic and some strategies and tools that could be used in your field. Trainings can be customized to your organization or field. 

NDATS 300-LE: Neurodiversity and Safe Encounters Workshop. (4 hours)
CLEE credit approved.

This course is designed to educate specifically Law Enforcement Officers to be prepared for encounters with neurodiverse individuals. The course breaks down common interactions that occur with individuals with ASD and provides strategies on how to effectively and safely approach these encounters.  Communication tools and visual cues  are covered to interact with non-verbal individuals. This course walks First Responders through scenario based situations with neurodiverse individuals to practice adapting the situation.

NDATS 105: Autism Encounters-First Responder Training Course 
(1 or 2 hour options)
This course is designed to educate law enforcement, public safety, firefighters, EMS, and other first responders to be prepared for encounters with neurodiverse individuals. The course breaks down common interactions that occur with individuals with ASD and provides strategies on how to effectively and safely approach these encounters.  

NDATS 300-F: Neurodiversity and Safe Encounters Workshop. (4 hours)

This course is designed to educate specifically firefighters, EMS, and other first responders to be prepared for encounters with neurodiverse individuals. The course breaks down common interactions that occur with individuals with ASD and provides strategies on how to effectively and safely approach these encounters.  Communication tools and visual cues  are covered to interact with non-verbal individuals. This course walks First Responders through scenario based situations with neurodiverse individuals to practice adapting the situation.

NDATS 201: Social Stories & Visual Supports.

In a workshop format, participants will gain an understanding of how and why task analysis and visual support tools can help accommodate neurodiverse individuals. Participants will leave the training with the ability to break down tasks and situations into smaller steps and then create tools to support all involved. 

NDATS 103: Neurodiversity and the Workplace

This course is designed with human resources in mind. ASD and other individuals sometimes struggle to work in a neurotypical setting. Taking the time to look at your setting though a lens of a neurodiverse mind will allow organizations, and community agencies to make changes to be more inclusive to all individuals. This course hopes to help improve the workplace for neurodiverse employees.
